ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)– Police are looking for a man who tossed a pair of kittens from a car along Highway 370 Wednesday afternoon.
The facts of the case are fairly plain. Someone tossed a pair of kittens out of the window of his SUV while driving along Highway 370 in Bridgeton.
Witnesses say the man was driving a 1970′s or ’80′s vintage SUV colored silver gray or greenish gray.
He tossed one kitten and then another into traffic along Highway 370, which links St. Louis and St. Charles counties.
One of the kittens was killed by the car immediately behind the SUV. The other kitten might have survived since neither police nor animal control officers were able to find it.
This is more than an animal cruelty case since cops know that violence toward animals will predict whether they’ll eventually be violence against other humans.
