A man accused of dealing drugs within 1,000 feet of a school reportedly surrendered to Sterling Police.
Jacob Dean, 23, of Franklin Grove, Illinois, turned himself in May 31, 2012.
Dean is charged with two counts of unlawful delivery of between 30 and 500 grams of cannabis within 1,000 feet of a school and one count of unlawful delivery of between 10 and 30 grams of cannabis within 1,000 feet of a school.
Police said his arrest came after a two-month drug investigation they conducted in February and March 2012.
Dean was held in the Whiteside County Jail.
