Falcon chicks need names

You can help name the three Peregrine Falcon chicks recently hatched in Davenport, Iowa.

Three of the four eggs hatched in early May 2012.

MidAmerican Energy is accepting name submissions until 5 p.m. May 24, 2012 on the company’s Facebook page at this link:

They’re accepting male and female names.  The Iowa Department of Natural Resources will determine the gender of each of the chicks May 31, and that’s also when the selected names will be announced.

MidAmerican Energy plans to give a gift bag and photo of the chick to each person who submits a name selected for each chick.
