Known as the “Queen of Disco”, legendary singer Donna Summer died after battling cancer.
TMZ reports Summer tried to keep her illness private. She was in Florida at the time of her death, and reportedly died Thursday, May 17, 2012.
Summer was reportedly working on an album at the time of her death.
Donna Summer is perhaps best known for disco hits such as “She Works Hard for the Money”, “Love to Love You, Baby” and “Last Dance”.
Donna Summer was 63 years old.
