Teen arrested for NorthPark Mall shooting

An 18-year-old was arrested for allegedly firing shots into a crowd of people outside NorthPark Mall in April.

Donovan Dean, of Davenport, Iowa, was booked into the Scott County Jail just after 2:30 a.m. Sunday, May 13, 2012.  He was held in lieu of $10,000 bond and charged with felony intimidation with a dangerous weapon.

The Quad City Times reported Dean  is accused of firing a handgun during a fight that began in the food court before moving outside the mall just after 6:30 p.m. April 6.

Dean was allegedly involved in the fight, and police said Dean reportedly threw chairs inside the food court.   When people reportedly ran outside and across the parking lot to get away from him, Dean allegedly pointed a revolver and fired two shots at the fleeing crowd.
