The six year plan released by the Illinois Department of Transportation includes millions of dollars for the Amtrak line connecting Chicago and Moline.
The money pays for the rail project and the Moline station.
Forty-five million dollars is allocated for upgraded track and signaling systems, station improvements and new train equipment.
Sixteen million dollars will pay for the conversion of the historic O’Rourke building on the downtown Moline riverfront into the Moline Multimodal station.
The rail line is on track to be ready in 2014.
