School bus backs into car

No one was injured when a school bus backed into a car on Tuesday, April 24th.

The accident happened just after 7:30 a.m. on Sunny Hill Drive in Orion, near Sunny Hill Estates. Witnesses say the bus driver was picking up some students when he missed a house and backed up. A car following the bus was unable to get out of the way and ended up wedged underneath the back of the bus.

The driver of the car was uninjured and was able to drive away from the accident scene with damage to the front of the car. All students on the bus were checked out by paramedics before being transferred to two other buses around 8:00 a.m.
