Final closing dates have not yet been announced for 11 full-line Sears stores the company has sold for a total of $270 million.
Two of the stores are in Iowa and one is in Illinois. Of those, one of the Iowa stores was owned by Sears. The other Iowa store and the Illinois store listed are leased properties.
“Sears has received the sale proceeds and the stores will continue to operate as Sears locations into 2013 or 2014 with final closing dates to be determined and announced later this year,” said a statement from Sears Holdings Corporation.
