The city of Davenport wants to develop a vacant riverfront building once known as “The Dock”. The building is located on Perry Street, just east of Rhythm City Casino.
City officials offered a glimpse inside the building. It needs major work, but the city of Davenport believes it can be done.
Mayor Bill Gluba announced Monday that the city is looking for offers from developers interested in the building. Gluba says the city wants to hear any idea they might have.
The city wants to maintain ownership of the land and wants to partner with a developer on the new business. Financial incentives will be offered.
