Storms ripped through the midwest through out the weekend and left their mark in our area.

The Quad City International Airport is working to fix 3 planes that were damaged during the storm Saturday evening.  Airport officials say passengers were accommodated and placed on different flights.

The airport was not the other place that is dealing with the aftermath of the storm.

An E-F-2 tornado touched down in Creston, a small town in southwest Iowa, Saturday around 7 p.m.  The tornado tore the roof off of The Greater Regional Medical Center.  Dozens of ambulances evacuated patients after a direct hit from the tornado.

In the same area, all students had to evacuate Southwestern Community College as the winds damaged most of the campus.  Many students are now forced to sleep on cots in the student center.

Amazingly, no one was severely hurt in the disaster.
