Tired of extra airline fees? If you're flying Allegiant, be ready for another.
Allegiant is now the second airline to charge for carry-on bags. Depending on where you are flying or how early you pay, you could pay anywhere from $10 to $35 for a carry-on bag.
One personal item such as a purse or laptop bag will still be allowed without a fee but many passengers question when the fees will stop.
“Paying to check, paying not to check; it used to be you didn’t have to pay to get your drinks and food. It just seems we are getting nickel and dimed for everything," passenger Elizabeth Moshe.
The extra fee starts Wednesday for those booking with Allegiant. If you have booked prior, you will not have an extra charge.
