Moline family excited for the return of PFC Reedy

After serving a year in Afghanistan, PFC Tom Reedy is scheduled to come home Sunday night.

The Moline High School graduate has been stationed in Germany until he was deployed to Afghanistan on Saint Patrick’s Day last year.  Now on April Fool’s Day, he will be reunited with his family.

“We are very proud of him,”  his father tells us.

Last December, Tom Reedy, Sr. suffered a heart attack while PFC Reedy was away so the reunion is one that the family has been really looking forward to.

The Patriot Guard will be there to show honor to the returning soldier as well.
