Eldridge, Iowa Police say they arrested two men who allegedly stole more than $1,000 worth of fuel from a gas station.
Pargat Singh, 44, of Turlock, California and Earnest Dickerson, 41, of Fresno, California are each charged with second-degree theft.
Police said the men took diesel fuel without paying at an Eldridge Big 10 Mart gas station.
Police said they are continuing to investigate the possibility that other people were involved in the theft and that additional charges are possible.
Both men were booked into the Scott County jail at around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2012. Singh posted his $5,000 cash-only bond and was released just before 4 p.m. that same day. Dickerson remained in custody in lieu of $5,000 bond.
