The cuts keep going deeper for the City of Davenport, which is trying to climb its way out of a deep budget hole.

17 full-time positions and 13 part-time positions will be trimmed.

The plan freezes five firefighter and five police officers positions.

Other cuts, also part of the almost $200 million dollar budget, include the community planning and economic department and parks and recreation.

Cuts go into effect July first.
