A special prosecutor will represent the state in a case against an Aledo, Illinois man accused of sending a cell phone photo of his genitals to a teenager.

William Engle, 31, was charged January 25, 2012 with one felony count of manufacturing harmful material with a webcam or other device, and one misdemeanor count of giving liquor to a minor.

Engle is accused of sending a photo of his private parts to a person under 18 years of age.  He allegedly provided alcohol to that same person.

Engle was released from jail after posting 10% of his $50,000 bond.

At his February 21, 2012 preliminary hearing, Engle’s attorney entered a plea of “not guilty” on his behalf.

The Aledo Times Record reported Engle requested special exceptions to his bond conditions so he could continue training in the National Guard.

Engle’s case is next scheduled for a pre-trial hearing April 17, 2012.
