Attorneys on both sides of the Nicholas Sheley murder case in Whiteside County objected Friday to cameras being allowed in the local courtrooms during trial proceedings.
Prosecutors say the additional publicity would make it difficult to find impartial jurors on Sheley’s upcoming March fifth trial.
Sheley, as you may remember, is charged with 10 counts of first-degree murder and several other felonies in the death of Russell Reed, 93, who was killed in June of 2008.
